Former Soviet Air Force Personnel Disclose UFO, Alien-Related Threats

There have been incidents of UFOs hovering over the Soviet nuclear sites. A sinister event took place in the Soviet Ukraine in the early 1980s, and the SETKA (secret UFO research, a combination of academic and military efforts) program field scientists had studied the case. This and other cases are covered in UFO Case Files of Russia. Also, the Chernobyl disaster and the benign UFO interference is covered. The Soviets were helpless: UFOs ruled the sky, and USOs ruled the oceans, seas, and deep-water lakes. The dramatic history of Soviet UFO research certainly includes accounts of UFOs around their nuclear sites. U.S. is definitely not alone in attracting UFOs to its nuclear sites. UN Office Prepares for First ET Contact

 

UN 'to appoint space ambassador to greet alien visitors.'

According to the UK Telegraph the United Nations appears to be preparing for eventual first contact.' Many media outlets are carrying the story that Mazla Othman,

a Malaysian astrophysicist who heads the UN's Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna — already charged with things like keeping track of satellites to prevent Kessler Syndrome and coordinating the international response to any earth-impacting asteroids — will be the first person to meet with aliens if they do show up.

Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity's response when extraterrestrials make contact. She will set out the details of her proposed new role at a Royal Society conference in Buckinghamshire next week. The 58-year-old is expected to tell delegates that the proposal has been prompted by the recent discovery of hundreds of planets orbiting other stars, which is thought to make the discovery of extraterrestrial life more probable than ever before.

Earth Sized Exo-Planet Discovered

A team of planet hunters that includes astronomers at Tennessee State University, the University of California-Santa Cruz, the Carnegie Institution of Washington and the NASA Astrobiology Institute has announced the discovery of an Earth-sized planet (three times the mass of Earth) orbiting a nearby star at a distance that places it squarely in the middle of the star's "habitable zone, where liquid water could exist on the planet's surface. If confirmed, this would be the most Earth-like exoplanet yet discovered and the first strong case for a potentially habitable one.

To astronomers, a "potentially habitable planet is one that could sustain life, not necessarily one that humans would consider a nice place to live. Habitability depends on many factors, but liquid water and an atmosphere are among the most important. "Our findings offer a very compelling case for a potentially habitable planet, said Steven Vogt, professor of astronomy and astrophysics at UC Santa Cruz. "The fact that we were able to detect this planet so quickly and so nearby tells us that planets like this must be really common. "Advanced techniques combined with old-fashioned ground-based telescopes continue to lead the exoplanet revolution, said Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution. "Our ability to find potentially habitable worlds is now limited only by our telescope time.

Vogt and Butler lead the Lick-Carnegie Exoplanet Survey. The team's new findings are reported in a paper to be published in the Astrophysical Journal and posted online at www.arXiv.org . Coauthors include UCSC associate research scientist Eugenio Rivera; the University of Hawaii-Manoa; and research scientists Gregory Henry and Michael Williamson of Tennessee State University. The paper reports the discovery of two new planets around the nearby red dwarf star Gliese 581. This brings the total number of known planets around this star to six. The planets around Gliese 581 have nearly circular orbits. The most interesting of the two new planets is Gliese 581g; with a mass, three to four times that of the Earth and an orbital period of just under 37 days. Its mass indicates that it is probably a rocky planet with a definite surface and that it has enough gravity to hold on to an atmosphere, according to Vogt.

Gliese 581, is located 20 light years away from Earth in the constellation Libra that has two previously detected planets that lie at the edges of the habitable zone, one on the hot side (planet c) and one on the cold side (planet d). The newly discovered planet g, however, lies right in the middle of the habitable zone. Vogt said. Henry said, "Planet g is an important milestone, "because it brings us a big step closer to learning if there actually are life-bearing worlds in our galaxy. "Any emerging life forms would have a wide range of stable climates to choose from and to evolve around, depending on their longitude, Vogt said. The researchers estimate that the average surface temperature of the planet is between -24 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-31 to -12 degrees Celsius). The surface gravity would be about the same than Earth's, so that a person could easily walk upright on the planet, Vogt said. The new findings are based on 11 years of observations of Gliese 581 using the HIRES spectrometer (designed by Vogt) on the Keck I Telescope at the W. M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii.

Given the relatively small number of stars that have been carefully monitored by planet hunters, this discovery has come surprisingly soon. "If these are rare, we shouldn't have found one so quickly and so nearby, Vogt said. "The number of systems with potentially habitable planets is probably on the order of 10 or 20 percent, and when you multiply that by the hundreds of billions of stars in the Milky Way, that's a large number. Vatican Astronomer Would Baptize Aliens ,

James Martin, article in the America Magazine the National Catholic Weekly September 23, 2010 reports,

My friend Brother Guy Consolmagno, the Jesuit astronomer and MIT grad who works at the Vatican observatory (and who surprised Stephen Colbert with his common sense about the Second Person of the Trinity) said he was "comfortable" with the idea of baptizing an alien. At the opening of the British Science Festival (somewhat overshadowed by the visit of Guy's boss to the country) Consolmagno fielded the inevitable question about aliens.

He said he was "comfortable" with the idea of alien life and asked if he would baptise an alien, he replied, "Only if they asked.""I'd be delighted if we found life elsewhere and delighted if we found intelligent life elsewhere," he said. "But the odds of us finding it, of it being intelligent and us being able to communicate with it - when you add them up it's probably not a practical question.

"God is bigger than just humanity. God is also the god of angels." He said the characteristics synonymous with having a soul - intelligence, free will, freedom to love and freedom to make decisions may not be unique to humans. Fulham Predicts UFO Fleet to Arrive

A newly published book by a retired NORAD officer Stanley A. Fulham, tentatively predicts October 13, 2010 as the tentative date for a fleet of extraterrestrial vehicles to hover for hours over the earth's principal cities. Author says the event to be the first in a series intended to avert a planetary catastrophe resulting from increasing levels of carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere dangerously approaching a "critical mass."

The book, Challenges of Change (3rd ed.), reports this event will be the initial interaction in a process leading to humankind's acceptance of the alien reality and technologies for the removal of poisonous gases from the earth's atmosphere in 2015, if not sooner.

The author draws upon his military experience with the UFO phenomenon dating back to WW2, and later, with NORAD and his subsequent life-long association with a senior NORAD intelligence officer who provided him a wealth of historical data relating to UFO/alien reality. In the military's view, the public is not yet ready to accept an alien reality.

For more than a decade, through the services of a world-renowned channeler, the author has communicated with an ethereal group of entities known as the Transcendors -- 43,000 very old souls who combine their vast experience and knowledge through eons of incarnations, providing advice and information to humans in search of basic realities of humankind's existence.

The book Challenges of Change reports on the author's years of communication with the Transcendors who reveal earth changes, international terrorism, worldwide financial collapse and the environmental crisis. Fulham clarifies there are no absolutes; the principal of free will precludes all absolute realities, and the aliens may decide to postpone their intervention -- but the Transcendors confirm it will nonetheless occur in 2010. China Launches Moon Probe

Sichuan Province -- The Chang'e 2 blasted off from a remote corner of Sichuan province and is set to orbit the moon. The probe paves the way for an unmanned landing scheduled for 2013.

It's mission might not end with the moon, as scientists are considering sending it into deep space.

According to Li Shangfu, the Director of the Xichang Satellite Launch Center.

"I am very happy to announce Chang'e-2 satellite correctly entered orbit as planned. This launch has been completely successful."

With this launch, China hopes to take its place amongst space powerhouses the United States and Russia. This mission also paves the way for a manned moon mission.

French Mirage III pilot Saw UFO

Dijon In his chapter for "UFOs, French Major General Denis Letty reports on the case of Air Force Captain Jean- Pierre Fartek, then a Mirage III pilot, who saw a UFO in 1979. Captain Fartek's case was most unusual, because the sighting did not occur while he was flying, but had taken place at his home in a village near, during the day. He and his wife witnessed an oscillating object hovering low to the ground, in front of a row of apple trees. General Letty met with them at the location, and wrote this in his notes during the interview:

"The object looked like two reversed saucers pressed against each other, with a precise contour, a gray metal color on the top and dark blue below, with no lights or port-holes. The clarity and precision of the shape of the object left no doubt that it was something solid and physical, and Captain Fartek made this drawing. He provided many more details, as Letty describes. The similarities between the object described by the three Captains -- Guerra Schultz and Fartek "- in different countries and in different years are both suggestive and fascinating. (Collection J. "He told me when we met that the sighting called into question his perception of what were then called flying saucers,' because he had never believed in them, Letty says in his chapter. "Now, he acknowledged to me that after seeing this craft he could no longer doubt their existence. "Hearing his testimony, I too did not have any more doubt about the reality of the phenomenon.

I found the Farteks' testimony so disturbing that I have been preoccupied by the UFO problem ever since. UFO Report from 1927

We were in our camp in the Kukunor [NE Tibet] district, not far from the Humboldt chain some of our caravaneers noticed a remarkably big black eagle flying above us. Seven of us began to watch this unusual bird. At the same moment, another of our caravaneers remarked: there is something far above the bird,' and he shouted his astonishment. We all saw, something big and shiny reflecting sun, like a huge oval moving at great speed. Crossing our camp this thing changed in its direction from south to southwest, and we saw how it disappeared in the intense blue sky. The Iranian Nuclear Facilities under Attack

A computer virus, Stuxnet, has been launched by an unknown organization and has wormed its way into the Iranian nuclear facilities causing great harm. Indonesia and India have also been hit, indeed 45,000 computers have been infected, but the vast majorities are in Iran. Once inside a computer system Stuxnet is capable of reprogramming software including the controls of its most critical functions. Because it is so sophisticated, cost so much to write, and uses two stolen security certificates, intelligence experts believe only a national intelligence agency, or a huge private company, could have devised it.

The finger of suspicion has pointed first at Israel because its Air Force has been expected to launch aerial attacks against the nuclear facilities has it did against Syria and Iraq. Israel is likely trying to sabotage Iran's nuclear facilities as Iran has vowed to destroy Israel. This does not mean Israel is responsible, just that it is among the main suspects. The United States, Britain, Germany, China, and India all have the capability. The Germans also have the advantage of having access to Siemens which is a German company and whose system is the one, which has been attacked in the Iranian nuclear facilities. I met with Jacques Vallee at Princeton University who is a world renowned Ufologist and researcher of the occult of over 35 years. Tucson -- On September 28, 2010, I was watching the News Channel KVOA # 4 with a female roommate regarding a UFO event on film a few days prior. At that moment, her friend came inside and said, "You need to come outside and see this.

When I went outside I seen an object, a light in the sky, NW of my address and I then ran to get my camera and I captured this very brief Video. I was rushing to find the night application for the Sony camera when I found this Video....

PHOENIX -- Four of us went to visit White Tank State Park by car, to take photos of cacti, the desert, with a nice background on October 2, 2010. I noticed a trail of whitish line in the sky, as we entered the park at around 5:20 pm, and I thought it was a military plane, producing a trail.

We spent about an hour in the park taking photos, and as we were about to leave, I noticed that the whitish trail had not changed at all, and it was still there. We could not explain what it could be, and I took some photos to have some expert identify it. I have enlarged one of the photos, and I am enclosing it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Photo

ENGLEWOOD -- On October 3, 2010, my fellow sky watcher called me and said he was going out to watch for a while so I decided to as well. I have a new Generation 3 night scope and my old camcorder. At about 8:25 PM, I picked the scope up and started to look N/NE at about 80 degrees. I saw a formation of dull white circles in formation flying from north to south very fast. The first thing that hit me was this is the same thing I have seen before on a famous U-tube video. I mean a carbon copy of it. From the time I spotted it, until it was gone was around 20 seconds. When I first seen it I stood up to get a better look so I could follow it south. It was moving very fast, and was not birds. The scope lets you see amazingly clear. Georgia Large Black "Triangle"

Cumberland Island -- On August 16, 2010, 11 PM, I was camping with two friends on Cumberland Island National Seashore in Georgia when my friend and I decided to walk on the beach late at night since my other friend went to sleep.
The beach was almost absolutely dark due to the lack of artificial light on the island. However, while walking along the empty beach with my friend, passing overhead I noticed a black aircraft, which bore no resemblance to any aircraft I had ever seen before.

The object was a rather large black "triangle" with lights fixed to each "point" along with another light in the center. Myself being a skeptic I tried to rule out what the craft could be. It did not look like any aircraft I have ever seen and was silent. The aircraft was headed due south towards Jacksonville and later that night approximately 45 minutes later I saw it fly over our campsite again heading southward. Illinois Triangle

Kankakee -- On September 13, 2010, I was cleaning the sensor of my digital camera (Nikon D300, 18-135mm Lens) and was shooting a frame of clear blue sky to confirm that dirt had been removed. When I looked at the frame on the camera display, I noticed objects in the image that I did not see when I took the photo. I did not see the objects with my sight - did not notice any objects in the sky when I shot the frame. Image submitted below.

Indiana Black Disk Video

Indianapolis -- On September 26, 2010, around 2:30 PM, I strapped a FPV camera to the bottom of new plane I just built and did some flyovers to see if I could find my lost remote control plane from the aerial video.

The video is good and clear and the UFO appears as a black circle while other aircraft can be seen. I went home and watched the video using Magix movie edit 15. I caught a round black dot in frame-by-frame motion and it stayed in synchronization with the sky. I caught it again on the second pass with my control plane. I also noticed a military helicopter flying around.

Now after I landed the plane I went home to view the video and that is when I dismissed the dots as debris. I was looking for my other downed RC airplane not UFOs. I took a screenshot of what I thought was my plane, printed it and went back out to the field to find it. No, I did not find it.

Note: I agree with the witness's assessment of the video. The slow motion footage clearly shows the circular object. The video is interesting. The only known explanation I can think of is a dark balloon floating in proximity. There is the possibility of video editing, but the object appearance is too brief for it to be a typical hoax. Massachusetts Lights

Arlington -- Back when my husband and I were dating in 1968, we were riding around on the 4th of July, looking for fireworks displays to watch. About 8:45 PM, we drove to high ground in Arlington Heights and I saw something odd. It was a curved string of lights, set on an angle, just above the rooftops and it was moving uphill at the same speed that we were. It popped in and out of view as it went behind the trees and picked up speed so we accelerated until we were doing 70 mph going up that hill. Then it went faster and faster until we couldn't keep up and it disappeared. We did not have a camera with us, but I have vivid memories of the incident. Oregon Wobbling Disc

Portland -- On September 11, 2010, I noticed some movement and saw very clearly an airborne object gliding slowly north. It remained at a consistent speed slower than an airplane at a consistent altitude. It spun slowly losing momentum as the center of this solid metal disc stayed stationary while the outer rim dipped methodically as it traveled. I saw every detail on every side of the object. The top of the disc was convex, smooth, and featureless. The bottom side was the same except for six smooth bulges, or warts, evenly spaced protruding in a circle near the outer edge of the disc.

The object made no noise as it moved overhead and traveled north over the I-405 Bridge and finally disappeared. The entire sighting lasted about eight minutes and filled me with awe and excitement. I was left with a warm afterglow of energy and optimism. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Diamond

Conshohocken -- On September 26, 2010, I was driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike around 10:15 pm, and noticed an unusual craft smoothly and quietly gliding across the sky in front of my car. It was an elongated dark grey diamond. The longer tips were pointing towards the front and rear of the craft. At the rear under belly of the craft were three large lights in a triangle. At the front of the craft were smaller lights. The craft gracefully flew across the turnpike in front of me and flew behind me as I continued driving.

One thing I noticed was that the back right light was abruptly shut off, leaving two lights at the rear. This was right before the craft descended and when I lost it and almost crashed my car trying to see it. I thought it must be some new type of military airplane. The odd triangular shape, no wings, or propellers tipped me off that this was unusual. The shorter tips of the diamond shape were pointing to the sides. I know it was definitely a UFO but I am not so sure it was extraterrestrial. Thanks to MUFON CMS.

Tennessee Lights

CHAPEL HILL -- On September 28, 2010, I was checking out the northeast sky for a visible comet when about ten seconds later I saw a light slowly appear and become bright then several seconds later dim to nothing. Then ten seconds later, it again repeated what I had seen. It did this three or four times before it disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Texas Lights

Tomball -- I am a commercial pilot based in IAH. On September 25, 2010 at 4:20 PM, I noticed what appeared to be an egg shaped object over Highway59 in Tomball that would flash a bright red light similar to a flare. I watched the object for almost ten minutes as it went through some cumulous clouds. As it did, the clouds seemed to 'open up' around it. I took photos with my cell phone, but after enlarging, I was un-able to see the object.

The next day, at the same time, I noticed five or six egg-shaped whitish/silver objects travelling in a group. Again, I took cell phone photos, but the craft were at 15,000 feet AGL, and then later 30,000-40,000 feet AGL) that they again did not show up. I had a flight attendant that was at my house who verified that these objects were spreading out, and then joining. As they reached a higher altitude and lined up perfectly from north to south. They either were changing shape from round to oval, or were oval and simply wobbling. I am a military trained aerial observer. Their apparent separation and then re-organization flight characteristics would unlikely be balloon activity north of Houston. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington White Object

Olympia -- I was visiting a friend on September 22, 2010, at 4 PM, walking towards the downtown Shell Station when I a saw a plane followed by a white higher flying and faster object. It moved upwards, but kept at around the same spot until it disappeared. It is strange for that time of day; what could it be?

Australia Triangle

KATHERINE GORGE -- The accidental photograph of a UFO over a popular tourist destination on July 17, 2010, occurred only hours before a bright light buzzed the crowd at the Katherine Show. Victorian tourist Adam Rewuk did not realize he captured the image of the flying saucer until he looked back over his photos after the trip. "My Dad used to be a big UFO believer, so when I saw the picture, I thought of him," he said. "I took the photo around lunch time, but I saw nothing in the sky. I didn't realize it was there until I saw the photo." Mr Rewuk said the image was definitely not that of a plane or a mark on the lens of the camera. "If I zoom in on the picture, it almost looks like a diamond shape with a bubble on the bottom," he said.

Mr Rewuk said, "A UFO was spotted at a nearby town show within a few hours. The NT News reported, that a bright light had travelled slowly across the sky about 6.20 pm. "The UFO that looked like a moving star spooked hundreds of people at the show grounds as the sun was starting to go down. It was going across the sky for maybe five seconds, before it disappeared." said Vicki Mulholland, of Borroloola.

Brazil Satellite UFOs

RIO GRANDE DO SUL -- On September 28, 2010, at 6:15 AM, I have the habit of viewing satellite photos on my computer. I printed a few pictures of the satellite and wanted to tell you that analyzed these spots on GOES-12 Weather Satellite (Infrared 4 Kilometer Resolution) to see if they are normal. For editing the photos, I used Photoshop and Photo Zoom Pro 3. I await your results. I have more pictures.

Canada Disc

Scarborough -- On Tuesday, September 21, 2010, while at work I noticed a lingering dark helicopter to the south low over the hydro lines. I took three pictures at 3:03 pm to capture the moment. I later examined them finding the last picture with a strange image.

The object resembles a grey disk if you zoom in. I truly did not see this with the naked eye. Though even in the first picture. There appears to be the same unknown moving across west with the helicopter. The camera's infrared caught the UFO.

Chinese Airport Temporarily Closed Due to UFO

BAOTOU (BNO NEWS) -- A Chinese airport in Inner Mongolia temporarily closed on October 5, 2010, amid fears that one of the passenger planes could collide with an unidentified flying object (UFO) that was seen in the area, local media reported on Wednesday.

Ireland Arrowhead Object

Dublin -- On September 24, 2010, at 10 PM, what I saw in the sky was a craft shaped like an arrowhead at the front with wings. The front of the craft came to a sharp point like an arrow and was similar to a cursor. It was flying at space station height. It was yellow or gold colored, traveling west. It then spun around twice in a full circle in a way that no man-made craft could have done. It was a distinct craft of some type and did not orbit like the space station but appeared quite a bit bigger than the space station. The sighting only lasted a short time. Wicklow --It was 1:05 AM, on October 4, 2010, when I had my third close encounter of the second kind. My TV started freezing, so my first thought was "Maybe there's a UFO out there." Then I noticed strange noises, which sounded like a cross between a plane, a helicopter, a Tie Fighter from Star Wars. It was loud, so I walked out to see a green glow with a white flashing light that turned and circled over my house.

When it went over my roof, I followed through the house, where I could see it up close - It was long, black, and either triangular or cigar shaped. with a green light on each side, a smaller dim red light on the back, and a flashing, larger white light in the middle. It flew around in circles above my house several times for about 25 minutes.

Birmingham -- I am 49 years old and on September 16, 2010, I awoke by the sound of a helicopter above my house. My partner went to look, he said, "There's a light above the house. The sound stopped but the light remained and I took several photos and videos. That morning I realized how clear the photo's are and my father put them on the computer for me. Each photo is different.

I need experts to look at them. I saw it change into a blue circle with tiny red and blue lights inside the circle, which resembled a bicycle wheel. I was scared and watched it until 4/45 am when I noticed it going away from my view.

UFO Filer's Files #38 - 2010 Russia continues "UFO program"

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sightings over Alabama, California, Colorado,-Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Sightings of UFOs also occurred in Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence hat occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research. I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Special Reports

UFO Confirmed Over Echo Flight Missile Launch Facility.

MALMSTROM AIR FORCE BASE, MONTANA -- Robert Kaminski reports, "Since this was a missile field site peculiar incident, a determination was made to send out an investigation team to survey the LCF [Echo Launch Control Facility] and the LFs [Launch Facilities,] to determine what failures or related incidents could be found to explain the cause. The five persons team was made up of qualified engineers and technicians headed by a scientist. After a week in the field the team returned and pooled their data. At the outset the team quickly noticed a lack of anything that would come close to explain why the event occurred. There were no significant failures, engineering data or findings that would explain how ten missiles were knocked off alert. This indeed turned out to be a rare event and not encountered before. The use of backup power systems and other technical system circuit operational redundancy strongly suggests that this kind of event is virtually impossible once the system was up and running and on line with other LCF's and LF's interconnectivity.

After months of investigation, the team met with me to report their findings and it was decided that the final report would have nothing significant in it to explain what happened at E-Flight. In other words there was no technical explanation that could explain the event. The team went off to do the report. Meanwhile I was contacted by our representative at OOAMA (Don Peterson) and told by him that the incident was reported as being a UFO event—That a UFO was seen by some Airmen over the Launch Control Facility at the time E-Flight went down.

Subsequently, we were notified a few days later, that a stop work order was on the way from OOAMA to stop any further effort on this project. We stopped. We were also told that we were not to submit the final engineering report. China Global Network To Scan The Skies For UFOs

Beijing -- A meteor-monitoring network to be completed this year may provide more solid evidence to confirm or debunk UFO sighting claims. The city will establish six monitoring stations to observe flying objects that cross the sky, the first of their kind in China.

With 3 million yuan ($441,897.78) in government funding, the Beijing network will mainly be used to track falling stars, comets and meteors of a certain brightness, said Kou Wen, the Beijing Planetarium expert in charge of the project. "The station can observe and record almost anything that flies overhead, including meteor showers and UFOs, Kou said, "providing a chance to supply more accurate documentation that can be used to verify or dismiss UFO witness reports.

Beijing's UFO Research Organization chief Zhou Xiaoqiang welcomed the new system. "It's often difficult to determine what the flying object is based solely on experience, when there's only a picture or a witness' recollection," he said. "Statistics collected from the stations could discover new meteor groups and also help scientists to locate meteorites, Kou said.

A meteor was witnessed falling to earth on the west side of Beijing in December last year, but scientists never recovered the meteorite. The six stations will be built in the Beijing Planetarium and Daxing, Huairou, Pinggu, Miyun and Yanqing. The stations will be run by computers only, with a dome that opens and closes automatically according to weather conditions, Kou said. Six cameras and an automatic control device will be installed inside. Test operations at the stations are estimated to begin in a few month. Russia continues "UFO program" over Lenin's birthplace

Ulyanovsk -- (WAPA) - Russia has launched a program to build a powerful, multi-purpose airship that will certainly cause many UFO reports. This time, though, the words "Flying saucer are not inappropriate at all.

The first such aerostate is officially named "Aerostatic thermoballasted vehicle": or simply "Locomoskyner", after its manufacturer LocomoSky. A prototype flying saucer (presented at "MAKS 2009 air show") was seven meters (23 feet) in diameter and was able to transport 20 kg (44 lbs) of cargo. The company, however, plans to produce aircraft with a cargo-carrying a passenger capacity of up to 11,000 people and up to 600 tons of cargo. It will be able to hover, perform a vertical landing, move in a straight line with speeds close to 100 kmph. It will need no special ground-based facilities to land.

The flying saucer will be able to transport outsized cargoes to remote and inaccessible areas. The "Locomoskayner airship takes to the air with nothing more than helium, and hot air cells to regulate its buoyancy. Propulsion of the craft is provided by several electric motors, and small wings on the periphery of its disc-shaped hull give the vehicle extra lift in flight. The shape, which resembles an UFO, provides extra stability, and the ability to hover for extended periods. The five-year project is based in the city of Ulyanovsk (originally named Si mbirsk, Lenin's birthplace), 893 km east of Moscow. Thanks to Avionews.

Alabama Blinking White Light

ASHVILLE -- On September 6, 2010, I saw an object moving parallel to the tree line at 8:40 PM, that had a blinking white light and two rays of light streaming toward the ground. Then it hovered, reversed direction and moved forward a few times. It continued through the clear night sky for a minute or two until out of sight behind some trees. California Sightings

Thousand Oaks -- On August 21, 2010, at 12:00 noon, I captured a short video of a white in a blue sky. There are other objects in the pictures that resemble the larger object. I did not notice the other objects until I uploaded the pictures and zoomed in.

Exactly one week earlier on August 14, around 5:30 pm while floating on my back in the swimming pool my wife and I observed two bright "star-like objects directly above us. One of the objects stayed stationary while the other headed away south.
Then the stationary object began to move south slowly, made a complete 180 degree turn and returned. It seemed to be a white sphere shinning bright and heading north and we again lost sight of it.

GRASS VALLEY -- Four of us, on September 5, 2010, at 9:45 PM, saw two objects traveling in synchronized formation heading north about 50 miles northeast of Sacramento.. The lead object led the second object a hundred feet. When they approached almost directly overhead, they slowed and climbed up to space. I have never seen anything like them and believe the objects were intelligently controlled.

Colorado Sphere

DENVER -- I was driving west on 3rd Avenue on September 7, 2010, to the south near Cranmer Park just above the trees I observed three very large bright spherical objects. Two were white lights and one was crimson. The two white objects seemed to cross in close proximity to each other with the crimson object centered slightly below them. These two objects moved in opposite directions leaving the crimson object. When it completed the V shaped route it hovered for about 60 seconds. There was no sound from any of the objects and they were way too large to be helicopter lights. The spherical object was a beautiful crimson with black running through that looked like beautiful plasma with flames. It started moving down behind the trees and then it was gone. Connecticut Pulsating Diamond

Madison -- On August 27, 2010, at 10:17 PM, my wife and I along with another couple and the children were setting up our campsite at the Hammonasset State Park in Madison. My wife said to everyone "Look at that!" We all turned to see a diamond shaped object pulsating red/orange moving slowly to the northeast. I referenced the object with two pine trees at a range of 100m across a flat open field. The object moved from 150 to a bearing of 120 degrees, paused, and then rapidly ascended into space. Georgia Disk

Cumming -- I was walking to my car at 6 AM, on August 23, 2010, when I saw a saucer shaped colored lights in the sky. A green light was flashing on and off with a red light flashing on and off on the other side. In the middle were clear lights. It stayed in the same position for at least ten minutes then the colors and the object faded and got smaller like a pulsating star. CANTON -- On September 12, 2010, I went outside to our back deck to put out the Tiki lights, at 10:05 PM, and noticed a strange pulsating light in the west about 12 miles away. I could just make out some color flickering around the white light. A jet was flying a little higher. I asked my wife and daughter to get our cameras, and they began to take pictures. There were bright white, red, blue, green, and orange lights flickering all around it. The main light moved clock wise to counter clock wise several times then it blinked out. The object at arm's length would be about three mm in diameter. My daughter took some video of an object the size of a 737 aircraft that moved quickly over the tree line. Illinois Light

FOX LAKE -- On September 9, 2010, I was walking down the road with a couple of friends and noticed a flying bright red light. I pointed it out just as something flashed about 500 feet to the left of the object. After that flash, the bright red object started to become smaller and smaller as if it were going straight up. Then flying horizontal for a minute it traveled over our heads and appeared to fly off into space. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Scott Air Force Base -- On September 12, 2010, we were at the air show as the Golden Knights Army Parachutists were about bailout of an aircraft, when I noticed two bright white objects hovering in the nw sky. Mother saw one of the orbs headed off to the NW at very high speed. The second orb was static for ten seconds, and then followed at high rate of speed. I sent an inquiry to public affairs at Scott Air Force Base, but do not expect much of a reply. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Indiana Orange Exclamation Point

Terre Haute -- On August 27, 2010, I was backing up my truck when a silver shine caught my eye about a mile away. My guess is the object was 500 feet across. It was a smooth disk with no markings with the top the same as the bottom like two Frisbees put together. I realized this was not a plane or anything I could explain. I truly believe I may have seen something amazing. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Webster -- On Saturday nights, I sing onboard the historic Dixie,' Indiana's oldest paddle-wheel boat on Webster Lake. I perform on the top deck of the boat and have an unobstructed view of the sky. On September 14, 2010, at about 10 PM, we were we traveling west when the captain of the boat tapped me on the shoulder and pointed at an object flying east very slowly. The captain said, "When I first saw it from the wheelhouse, I thought it was a missile, but I can't explain its large red leading-edge light. The captain stopped the boat and turned off the paddlewheel, and the object was completely silent. I called the attention to some 45 passengers to the object that was flying above the spotty clouds at only a few thousand feet.

The object was the size of a dime held at arm's length. Its leading edge was a large very bright red, glowing circular spot light. Immediately behind that was a rectangular light three times as long as the spot which was an even brighter, with an orange glow which scintillated and looked like an open flame. All I could see were the orange lights, no wings or visible superstructure. The craft was shaped like a fat exclamation point travelling point-first. It left no smoke or vapor trail. It continued due east, never changing its direction or rate of speed until it was out of sight.

Four days later, I was performing at a retirement home and an employee told me that her son saw the same object fly over the airport in Ft. Wayne, 40 miles due east. I asked her to describe what he saw and his description was identical to mine. Thanks to Bob Barnes, Voice Artist.

Kentucky Man Terrified by Low Flying Triangle

Edmonton -- At 9:30 PM, I was driving in a rural area on September 4, 2010, and saw a bright light next to a cell phone tower which I thought was another tower. It was very bright and flashed every second. I then realized the lights were moving and assumed it was a plane. The next time it blinked, I realized it was way too close to the ground to be a plane. The next time it blinked I realized the lights were in the form of a triangle and it was coming towards me.

I stopped my vehicle and got my phone out in an attempt to get a picture of the hovering object. I got a very close look at it, but all I could see was the bottom lit up. The lights were white, similar to LED lights, and very bright. The bottom had a metal triangular frame around it. I was frightened and floored the gas petal as I felt it was following me, but then let me go.

Louisiana Multiple Sightings
Hammond -- On August 27, 2010, and later dates, at 8 PM, I was standing on my porch and noticed a star that was twinkling various colors. I told my family and grabbed the binoculars and observed a triangular object slowly passing in our western sky. We live on the north shore of Lake Ponchatrain in the swamp/piney woods, low country. We watched the object ever so slowly pass again on September 7, 2010, and had our second UFO party. Every night at dusk this triangular ship drops out of the sky and slowly moves away flying either north or northwest. I have left reports of this all over the internet and need some information as to what is going on.

The ships front-tip light glows many colors red, blue, green, yellow, orange, white and sometimes just amber. It has two 45 degree angled wings with lights that twinkle in synchronicity or either do not blink at all. We had a party with seven witnesses plus friends and family. My husband is in the Air Force and has watched the lights each night but has no idea what it may be. We wonder who is piloting this craft and what are they doing descending essentially into my front yard? I do feel as though we are being observed because the lights are often visible through my bedroom window. My husband falls asleep and I have watched it until it floats off almost every night. Massachusetts Triangle
Westminster -- On August 29, 2010, at 10:10 PM, I saw the lights of an object smaller than a plane traveling slowly east and silently above treetop level. It was triangular in shape, with very bright light yellow oval lights. It disappeared behind a large pine tree. When I moved to see the craft, it had turned into a pinpoint of light and was gone. Nevada Cigar

Bullhead City -- On August 31, 2010, I was driving east on Woodbury Road heading towards the Laughlin Bridge which goes over the Colorado River leading into, Arizona. I noticed the UFO heading west flying towards me but could not identify it as anything with which I was familiar. The sky was very clear and the UFO was approaching very close to my vehicle. I could see it was a cigar shaped craft, and dark gray. It was flying parallel 40 to-50 feet to my left and no more than 50 feet off the ground. It was about 40 feet in length with no windows visible.

It was totally silent and had no visible sign of a jet or smoke trail. After passing my car, I looked in my side view mirror as well as my rear view mirror. The craft had completely vanished. I had my video camera in my car, but by the time I stopped to look, it was gone. I have had other UFO sightings in the past but nothing quite this close. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Rachel -- Chuck Zukowski writes, "On September 5, 2010, I did a little road trip throughout parts of Nevada that included traveling to the area around what is known as Area 51. This area is open range' used by cattle ranchers. As I drove east on Highway 375, I noticed a dead cow near the road. I pulled over and was shocked to see what looked like a cattle mutilation to my un-trained eyes. I took two quick photos and continued on my way. New Jersey Boomerang

SEWELL -- I observed a silent boomerang shaped object with slow pulsing rear red lights, and very bright forward lights on June 27, 2000. I called our local police department to see if anyone else had reported anything "strange" the past evening--they asked me to elaborate--I was very embarrassed to say UFO--I even said "Please don't think I am crazy or anything but I saw something in the air very strange" --the officer kind of blurted a small laugh and asked me to hold...came back and simply said "no, we had no reports of any kind like that". I said thank you and hung up.

Im a local business owner with four employees and previously reported to NUFORC. This whole incident is still vividly etched into my memory, and I still discuss it with my Dad who is a prominent Physicist and is amazed at the detail that I can relate in my accounting. New York Silvery Object

Queens Village -- On September 4, 20106 to 6:30 PM, I was sitting on the side of my house looking up admiring the pretty blue sky with not a cloud in it. Then, flying from West to East, I saw an object that looked silvery and reflecting the sunlight. It was very far up in the sky and it looked like a high flying jet aircraft.

I kept looking, but then it suddenly started to fly in all directions at an extremely fast speed. Up, down, diagonal, side to side. Then it straightened out and pointed up and disappeared. I don't know any aircraft that can move like that at that speed! When I did some investigating online, I saw that another person in my area saw something that he couldn't explain. Also NOTE: The photo I posted was taken after the sighting, so there is nothing to see. I wanted you to see what the sky looked like.

Ohio Triangle

Sandusky -- George! Your latest Filer's Files mentioning the Triangle Craft made me realize that I never told you about the one I had seen on July 3, 2010. My sister and I were at a large fireworks display, and there was another spectacular fireworks display just across the road from the one where I was. Before they began, I thought of reports that the "space people" love our fireworks displays because they don't see anything like it on other planets. So I wondered, as I stood there waiting for the fireworks to begin, where any UFOs may be watching and picking up our thoughts to summon them.

Just as the second fireworks display ended, my sister and I saw a glowing red-orange craft gliding north. People were saying, "Look!" "What's That?!" It's not making any sound!" "What IS IT?!" "I think it's a UFO!!"And then it vanished! Thanks to Kristen

Oregon Red Lights

Portland -- On September 6, 2010, at 10 PM, my husband and I were watching TV, when we see two orange and reddish lights moving slowly an equal distance apart from northeast to southwest spaced at about a 20 degree angle.

We ran outside to get a closer look and a third light appeared as if to fade in. Then suddenly all three faded out as if they went behind a cloud, but it was completely clear in the skies that night. Ross Island -- On September 11, 2010: at 3 PM, we were kayaking in the Portland Area on the Willamette River, when I saw two objects in the sky. They were hovering and at first appeared to change shape. I was on the east side of Ross Island and looking up for ten minutes over Maglagulin Avenue as I watched the objects drift to the southeast over Sellwood. The objects got a bit smaller as if they were moving away, but they remained the same distance apart and had a silver shine to them. If it were balloons the distance between them would have changed. Three other kayakers saw these objects and I also pointed them out to a couple in a motor boat hoping they had binoculars to get a better look. South Carolina Charleston Channel 2 TV

Simpsonville -- On September 7, 2010, Channel 2 TV reports a witness says he has proof there's something in outer space, we can't explain. "I don't think it was anything of this world, I really don't." Jawad Ashy says he spotted something Sunday night that even modern science can't explain, but maybe his camera could.... Ashy states, "It's not a saucer, not an airplane." It's a blue blob bouncing across the sky. Ashy is convinced it's a UFO. Ashy s "At first I was like wow this is pretty cool, Oh no, it's seen us, it's coming to get us!"

Melissa Keeney - WSPA states, " Ashy says the camera doesn't lie, but we wanted proof. Was this the stuff of science or something really out of this world? PARIS MT. -- On September 6, 2010, we saw a big, triangular shaped aircraft with seven bright white lights traveling S/SW toward Greenville.

I was co-hosting a labor-day bonfire when my friends' brother saw it tracking from right to left very quickly. I said something excitedly, and spotted a triangular shape with 3 to 7 bright white lights (one at the tip and two on rear points of the craft and maybe as many as 4 on the rear edges of the craft). The object may have been as much as three miles away from my location and was no higher than 2000 feet. I'm attaching sketches of the craft. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Cylindrical Object

Saylorsburg -- On September 3, 2010, the witness stated, "My wife and I saw an orange round cylindrical' object moving slowly across the sky about 6:15 PM. The object entered and exited the clouds. The witness video taped the object with his camcorder but is not obvious. The object emitted no sound and was visible for about 15 minutes. Listen to Witness Report (MP3)

Tennessee Orbs

NASHVILLE -- On September 11, 2010, around 7 P, I saw a black or dark brown drone like object with sharp angles. It looked like it was morphing and turning around and flew and turned direction like a rotisserie. After observing for about three minutes a second light cigar shaped, very luminous object appeared behind it. I snapped several photos with my phone, but only one shows both. The dark one seems not to have registered in the other photos. Two of us witnessed the silent objects. They did not appear to be any known conventional aircraft. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Texas Lights

BRECKENRIDGE -- On September 4, 2010, at 9:25 PM, I stepped outside and my attention was drawn to a bright orange light in the WSW sky. The object was at the tops of the trees over 900 feet away and began to rise in elevation, 2 to 3 degrees and stopped its ascent.

I reached in the door and grabbed my camera, taking two shots. I then got my binoculars and saw a bright white orange light that looked like Venus until it moved. The light turned red and disappeared completely. Total viewing time was ten minutes. Note: Venus had set an hour earlier. Thanks to MUFON CMS

West Virginia Orbs

White Sulfur Springs -- I guess you can say I had my 15 seconds of fame back in 1998, when I was on a show aired by FOX called, "UFO's: The Best Evidence Ever Caught on Tape 2" I have still been seeing these UFOs ever since, and recently, I purchased a new Canon 5D Mark 2 - 21 megapixel digital camera and I have been taking pictures of the UFOs instead of video which is of course harder to obtain from these objects at the speeds they travel.

I shot four pictures in a row of at least two dozen UFOs flying through the clouds on September 9, 2010 at 1 PM. They were all flying at high speed with the clouds were around 40,000 feet. All of the objects seemed to follow one another in a row through the clouds zipping upwards and back down half way into the clouds following each other. It was certainly fantastic and breathtaking to see all of them at once. They kept in perfect stride with one another's speed at almost the same distance away from one another. One picture has three UFOs in it. The second picture has five UFOs, the third picture has six, and the forth has nine UFOs in it. If you would like for me to send more just email me.

Note: The witness used a very high resolution camera so enlargements produced more detail. I wasn't able to find any of the number of objects in two of the photos as listed by the report above. Also I believe that the cloud layer is around 15,000 feet rather than 40,000 feet as listed by the witness in the report. The fact that the witness saw the objects rather than found them in the background of photos adds more strength to this report. The other photos will be requested. Updates will be posted. Algeria Lights

ZITUNA -- Around August 7, 2010, here in, I am a Canadian and recently married to an Algerian, and this month has been the month of Ramadan so we are up all night, have coffee from 3-4 am and then sleep most of the day. Our house is set high in the mountains overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Ramadan just ended September 10th, and during this period up until yesterday my husband, my sister-in-law and I are seeing something unexplainable appearing the first time around 3:21 am. We saw this big white light, and it pulsed on and off, floating, turned off, and then appeared again in a different spot, doing the same thing, about ten times.

Its erratic and appeared at 2 am, SW of the Little Dipper, doing the same thing a couple days later, and I watched it disappear and five minutes later it was back, in a different spot. It did this off and on till after 4 am. Four days later, it was back at 3 am. We saw it again on September 6, and 9th around 2 am, flashed twice on and off very slowly, with seconds in between the flashes. On September 11, at 8:30 pm, it did the same thing. It is not a plane. Australia Star like Light

Sydney, Darling Harbour -- On August 1, 2010, at 12:30 AM, I was talking with a friend who was smoking outside Cargo Bar when I noticed an object that looked like a star travelling diagonally towards the northeast. I pointed it out to my friend who immediately acknowledged it was unusual. It continued for a few seconds then stopped on the spot, flew upwards and then started moving west. Canada Bright Orange Orb

T win Shores, Prince Edward Island -- On August 29, 2010, my friend and I were camping around 12:30 AM, when we heard someone yelling from the beach. We went towards them and witnessed a circular like fireball for two minutes about 1/7th the size of the moon.
It was kind of like a bright orange orb that glowed on the outside, and when it got further away it resembled a fireball. We watched it to the point where it was too far away to see. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Chinese Airport Shut Down by UFO

BAOTOU -- Ron Hogan reports, "It's becoming a uniquely Chinese problem that for some reason, their airports keep getting shut down by UFOs. First, there was the UFO buzzing the airport in July , and now, Baotou Airport in the Chinese province of Inner Mongolia was shut down for about an hour by another unidentified flying object . Of course, no one in China is saying that an actual alien spacecraft is what shut down the airport, just some weird spot on the radar. According to a Baotou spokeswoman, "The airport received a notice from the Hohhot Air Traffic Management Bureau about the appearance of a UFO. GrosSetto -- On September 9, 2010, I was going out with my dog when I saw the star like object for the first time after sunset. At first I thought the object was a shining planet, like Venus or Mars. It was stuck in the sky. After a minute I was walking down the street, I turned back, saw again "the star" above and in few seconds it disappeared like a teardrop. I was surprised. Spain Red Orb

Puerto Banus -- I saw a large orange-red orb on August 29, 2010, at 11 PM, that was solid and there was no surrounding gas. It appeared large as a plate in the sky in front of the clouds and disappeared. It moved slowly and reappeared a couple of minutes later in a different location close by. The duration of both sightings was five minutes. Four witnesses saw the object that was not a Chinese lantern, balloon or red light. It was too big and too solid. It wasn't a meteor or satellite. Barnoldswick, Lancs -- On August 2, 2010, at 4 am, my 19 year old son was woken by cats fighting and got up to go to the loo and looked out of his window because he saw a bright light in the sky. He stood and watched very bright light alone for ten minutes about 10 to 15 minutes. The light was moving about making a 'S' shaped flight. He was quite scared and excited and he came bursting into wake me and his dad. Then all three of us saw this thing. It had changed position and was a bit further away by the time we saw it.

It was a cloudy night with no stars visible, but we could see a hazy moon. There was no sound. It appeared to waver about a bit whilst I watched then it started to rise quite quickly till it became a distant speck and disappeared, then it came back down, getting bigger till it was quite bright again. We found a pair of old binoculars to get a better look and it was triangular and very bright blue white in colour. It was visible for about an hour.

We are use to seeing lots of lights in the sky because we must be on the flight path for one of the airports but this was totally different and the longer we watched the stranger it became because we just couldn't come to terms with what it might be. Thanks to UFOINFO.com.

North yorkshire -- On September 12, 2010, I went outside for a smoke at 5:45 GMT, to see Jupiter as it's been really bright now. I could not believe my eyes as there was a deep red star just down and to the right of Jupiter. Also a white was star moving around it. The white star was smaller than the red star and the red star was smaller than Jupiter. Then the red star just faded away followed by the white one. Later, I kept looking outside for them, but saw nothing. Thanks to MUFON CMS

BARRY -- On September 11, 2010, at 9:10 PM, I was walking back from the shop on Holton Road and noticed four solid bright white lights moving in the sky. The third one was slightly lower than the rest looking like four Jupiters. Shortly they changed into one bright orange ball of light which was slightly bigger than all the white ones put together. WHERE ARE THE UFO PHOTOS ?

   Okay, where are all the UFO pictures? And the UFO videos?

 In recent years, the world has exploded with photographic and video equipment. There are about 5 billion cellphones in circulation throughout the world -- many, if not most, equipped with still and/or video cameras. (The number of mobile broadband subscriptions will probably top a billion globally this year.)

And there are millions, if not billions, of easy-to-use video cameras in circulation, as well as billions of still-picture cameras. Essentially, billions of people are able to snap or otherwise shoot the least bit interesting thing that happens at a moment's notice. So with all this gear in use, I'm wondering, why has no one captured clear and unambiguous evidence of UFOs from outer space? And why have none of the humans abducted by aliens flipped out their Flip video cameras and shot a minute or two of the historic moment -- and later uploaded it to YouTube? After all, any time a celebrity does something really dumb, a cellphone video is on the Internet before he or she can check into a rehab center.

    Recently, there were notable UFO incidents in China. One shut down the Xiaoshan Airport for 40 minutes, and photos hit the Internet showing the unidentified object. Days later, another unidentified flying object was sighted in eastern China, and a video was circulated showing a plume in the air.

    Physicist Geoffrey Forden dismissed the photos of the first incident as either Photoshop tomfoolery or photographs of a Chinese ballistic missile launch. In any event, neither episode yielded an undeniable shot of a spaceship.

    As each year goes by in our easy-to-record era with no hard video or photographic proof, we have to ponder the possibility (or probability) that there are no UFOs visiting from out there. For me, this has political ramifications. I came of age during the wonderful 1970s, when politics seemed to equal conspiracies. Exhibit A: Watergate.

    But there were others: for instance, past CIA assassination and mind-control plots and coups were revealed. More important, at the time I was convinced that President John F. Kennedy had been "neutralized" by some cabal of CIA bad guys, mobsters, and who-knows-who's.

    (Now, I lean toward the simple belief that Oswald did it by his crazy self.) One key part of the grand swirl was UFOs: Roswell, Area 51, crop circles, cattle mutilations, men in black, abductions, Chariot of the Gods, and the government coverup of all this. Secret government seemed to be the name of the game. And what could be a bigger secret?

But nothing undermines conspiracy theorizing better than reporting. And after reporting in Washington for over two decades, I came to the conclusion that the government is generally not capable of mounting extensive and complex, years-long conspiracies that transcend administrations. The bureaucrats are just not that good, and risk-averse political leaders often don't have the guts to do so.

There are indeed secret programs -- remember the Iran-contra affair? -- and all sorts of classified skullduggery.

But over the years -- even though I once saw an unidentified flying object when I was about 12 at sleep-away summer camp in New Hampshire (I'll tell you that story another time) -- I've come to believe that some covert misdeeds are beyond the reach of government officials, such as covering up alien visitations for decades. (9/11 conspiracy theorists, please don't e-mail.)

    I'd certainly prefer to hold on to my once passionate adolescent view that UFOs carrying extra-terrestrial tourists were turning the Earth into a veritable celestial truck stop. But that brings me back to the question: Where are the photos?

    The other day, I was discussing this with a scientist -- yes, really -- and she raised a couple of possibilities. Perhaps the UFOers had the ability to defeat photographic detection. They would have to be damn technologically advanced to reach the Earth from wherever. Think of stealth technology on steroids. Then she paused for a moment and offered another theory:

    Maybe they've stopped visiting us precisely because there are now too many ways they could be caught on film (or in pixels), and they prefer not to be seen (for the obvious reasons).

    In other words, the rapid global spread of technology has not provided proof -- via the absence of proof -- that UFOs are not dropping by from far-away galactic destinations; it has scared them away.

Though I doubt that to be the case, it was a rather sad thought. So now I'm hoping that if someone was able to grab video of a whale attacking a sailboat, then somebody else will soon nab a close encounter of the third kind with the new iPhone.

NOTE: After reading a reply from Pandoras Box, to this interesting article on UFO Casebook, this person seemed to sum it up with a interesting theory.  Many UFO organizations are hiding these UFO photos in plain sight except for UFO Casebook and World UFO Photos.  I feel MUFON has done a fine job in reporting UFO sightings in the U.S. and Filer Files { www.nationalufocenter.com  } has been reporting UFO information for decades.  What UFO organizations could he be talking about ?  I know the goverment has been hiding the really great, clear photos for 60 years.  Come to think about it, where are all the UFO photos ?  After 60 years of UFO's flying over our cities, there should be a few hundred thousand UFO photos.  Does the goverment have them all ?  What do you think ?

UFO Sighting , 9-14-10 LA VERNIA TEXAS

I was driving west on Texas State road 87 towards La Vernia. It was lightly drizzling and the traffic was driving slowly. I saw a little light shining through the rain clouds so I pulled over to get a better look at it because there no other star or light in the sky at that time. I stepped out of my truck and stood there next to the driver’s door for an about five minutes. As the rain cloud slowly dissipated and moved from South to North and I discovered I was looking at a shining star or a planet. However, as I was about to reenter my truck, something fell out of the slow moving rain cloud. At first I thought there was a mid-air collision so I imminently called 911 to report it. First I got through to Bexar County 911 dispatch then I was transferred to Wilson County 911 dispatch. A second car pulled off the road about 100 feet behind me and I believe they too witness this event.
This is what I reported to 911: I told them I was driving on 87 heading to Stockdale, Texas. I was presently between San Antonio and somewhere near La Vernia. I told 911 to hold on and I jumped back into my truck and drove about 200 to 300 feet to give them a crossroad. I pulled up to County Road 365 and relayed my position. Then I explain that I saw something about the size of a jet liner fall straight down from the rain cloud but there was no more rain coming from it now. The 911 dispatcher asked if I was sure it was a plane. I told them it looks like an airplane but the wings had broken off (I did not see any wing on the side facing me) and about the size of a Boeing 757 or a bigger 747. I estimated the bottom of the cloud was 20,000 feet and it fell for about 5,000 to 10,000 feet and I think I counted 2 to 3 seconds of free fall. The object was about 20 to 30 miles East of me and was burning up on its way down but it was engulfed in blue flames with dripping hot metal falling more from one side of it (Like when you see videos of the Space Shuttle Columbia breaking up on reentry). Except this thing is dropping straight down from the cloud and it was falling horizontal as if the plane hit a wall, stayed intact and started falling. As I watched it fall, all the flames had burned out about 5,000 feet above the ground. I could not hear anything because of the passing traffic and I did not see a ground impact because of the trees on the horizon. I told 911 that it was not a meteor because meteors fall like left to right or across the sky. 911 asked me where I thought it had falling. I told them it fell to the north and between of La Vernia and Stockdale. They asked for my full name and said they are sending a car out to investigate.
After I hung up the phone with 911, I continued my drive to Stockdale and picked up my son and told him what I had called into 911 about 15 minutes earlier. So we continued East on 87 looking for the crash. We drove all the way to Nixon with no luck so we stopped into Nixon’s Dairy Queen to get something to eat and asked around if anyone had seen anything fall from the sky. There were about four employees but no one had seen or heard anything. It was now exactly 9:51PM when I stepped outside of the Nixon’s Dairy Queen when I heard and noted a twin engine plane flying very slow in a circular formation right above the town. I motion my son to come out and verify the aircraft. I could not see any markings (just the anti-collision lights flashing) but by it slow speed and altitude I believe it to be a search plane.
Next we drove back to Stockdale. On the drive back to Stockdale from Nixon, we passed two police cars heading East but I could not tell if they where State or Local law enforcement. About 4 miles West of Stockdale we took up a looking position at the southern corner of the intersection where 87 and 97 from Floresville meet. At exactly 10:33PM a low flying Helicopter was flying from West to East just north of 87 in the direction to where I reported the possible impact area. At exactly 10:55 two police cars with sirens and lights flashing were driving very fast from Stockdale direction towards La Vernia direction. At about 11:15 with no further incidents, we drove home so I could make this report. I have added a few maps of the area to show my location when I called 911.

Westbury Long Island UFO Sighting

I was in the parking lot of a music venue on Long Island, tailgating with friends prior to the show, on the 3rd of July 2010. I had my cell phone out and was taking a picture of the venue and the sky at 7:00pm (note: not a single cloud in the sky). Approx. 1 minute later (7:01pm) a typical commercial jet/airplane (i.e. 747) appeared in the sky and was passing overhead. It looked cool in the all blue empty sky so I aimed my camera phone and took a pic. As soon as I pressed the shutter I saw in the corner of my naked eye (and on the screen of phone) a object approx. the same size as the tail of the 747, moving very rapidly from left to right, at least 2 - 3 times faster than the airplane. By the time I tried to take a second picture it was gone from view over the horizon.

I wish I had my real camera instead of the 1 megapixel camera phone but I am relieved to know I captured the object. I hope this can help UFOlogy(gists) and it is added to a confirmed Unidentified/Unexplained phenomenon of flying objects/crafts.

One other thing I would like to add is,  it appeared as if there were definitely 1 or maybe 2 round portholes you could just see with the naked eye.
