Ufo's, about 7 of them seen in Mirangi Bay on the North Shore. They appeard to be just out in the bay and low in the sky. The Ufo'ss were much brighter than what was captured on my smart phone.

Reports have come in of a bright light seen moving over the sky in Wellington and Christchurch. WeatherWatch says it has been inundated with reports of a spectacular meteor over central New Zealand this evening. Eyewitnesses from Wellington and Christchurch are talking of a fireball that rushed across the sky leaving a large trail behind it.

It is one of New Zealand's biggest mysteries and one of the world's best documented sightings of a UFO.
"The most important thing I think about his story is that even to this day, the flight crew and the air traffic controllers are adamant that we saw something highly unusual that can't be explained in mundane terms," says journalist Quentin Fogarty. " Now, 30 years later, they still believe that."
